Paige is a retired middle school principal, certified restorative educator, and professional mindset coach, born and raised in Austin. As a native, Paige is passionate about serving public education and building educator capacity within central Texas. She taught middle school and high school in a variety of subjects, including theatre, speech, and english. Under Paige's leadership as principal, her school implemented a rebranding process that included campus-wide restorative practices, a House system, and collaboratively designed core values that resulted in a 90% decrease in discipline. Her proudest moment, however, came when climate surveys revealed 99% of staff feeling connected to the school's mission, vision, and leadership. Paige says, "Once I knew faculty was on the same ship, it was easy to make waves!" Paige feels honored to get to continue helping schools "make waves" with the flexible, holistic, and research-based practices at Emergent Tree. She lives in Pflugerville, TX with her husband, 9-year-old daughter, and standard poodle named Sir Ferguson.
