Laurel was a special education teacher for high school and middle school in the Austin area for almost 25 years before shifting to a support role for teachers and administrators. Laurel served as an IEP facilitator and district mediator to help address challenging situations and build community and rapport. Her most recent role before joining ETE was building and supporting MTSS systems at the campus and district level in Austin ISD. Laurel has always enjoyed working with students and supporting teachers with new skills and knowledge.
